Fun Fact: John Wayne spent a lot of time in this region shooting many of his Westerns, including iconic films like How the West Was Won, 3 Godfathers and The Oregon Trail

TRUE GRIT ANNIVERSARY RUN

Fun Fact: True Grit was one of John Wayne’s final films before passing in 1979. At the 42nd Annual Academy Awards in 1970, he received a Best Actor Academy Award for his depiction as Marshal Rooster Cogburn.
