Following in his father’s footsteps, avid fly fisherman John N. Maclean revisits similar territory with his new memoir, “Home Waters: A Chronicle of Family and a River.” This includes, as depicted in beautifully written passages, Montana’s magnificent Blackfoot River that saw generations of Macleans come of age. Including color photographs of Big Sky, this ode to family and the natural world is a great gift for Dad.
