Run with Grit: The John Wayne 5K Returns to Fort Worth

The John Wayne Grit Series returns to Fort Worth on November 8, bringing together runners, walkers, and fans to honor Duke’s legacy of strength and perseverance. The 5K winds through the Stockyards and Trinity Trail, raising funds for the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. Race Director Molly Kassouf calls it “a fun event for everyone,” and this year’s festivities will open with country artist Kylie Frey performing the national anthem.
